Australia's leading Railway Signalling and Control Specialists is seeking an experienced signalling principle test engineer with additional skills in the design area to work on challenging projects in Australia and South East Asia. This position is based at our office in Lidcombe, NSW.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in testing and be competent in the following:
Essential
• Experienced at production and independent checking of high-level scheme development plans including Signalling Arrangement Plans, Scheme Plans, Bonding Plans and Control Tables.
• Experienced at production and independent checking of Computer Based Interlocking application data.
• Experienced at production and independent checking of wiring books for Signalling Equipment Rooms and Location Cases.
• Good knowledge of Railway signalling engineering principles and practices, rules and regulations for the safe operation of railway traffic.
• Ability to work with and understand different signalling principles
• Ability to interpret high-level design specifications
Desirable
• Experienced in production of high-level design specifications
• Experienced at independent checking of relay interlocking circuits
• Knowledge of installation and testing practices
• Able to mentor junior design staff in signalling principles and interlocking data production
• Able to lead small design teams (2-4 staff)

• Good written and verbal communications
• Ability to work efficiently in team environment

Qualifications
• Tertiary Qualified in Engineering or related discipline, or relevant experience
